Vault of Heaven by Sam Garriott Antonacci
"A version of this book was first produced for a 2017 exhibition called 'Celestial Navigation' at Bainbridge Art Gallery. 'Vault of Heaven' pays homage to the French astronomer Flammarion and a famous woodcut that first appeared in his 1880 book 'Popular Astronomy'. The person in my book peers from one world out into the infinite beyond to see what lies between heaven and earth: perhaps a glimpse of the hero's journey from the familiar into the unknown." - Sam Garriott Antonacci
The image includes a comet with a magnet that allows the reader to move it across the sky creating their own view.
