"This work receives its name from a small decorative awning in one of the postcard fragments making up the border of the book. The woman in the image is completely covered with clothing from head to foot. Only her handsome face is turned toward the camera. In spite of the modesty of the time, she wears the skin of a fox, complete with head and tail around her neck, merely a decorative element or a more telling sign. I played with instinctual and natural elements, rock spires against human invention." - Deborah Greenwood:
