A Familiar Letter from a Daughter to her Mother by Havilah Press

The author was 27 in 1871 when she traveled from NY to CA to tour Yosemite Valley.  She entrusted her brother with a letter to her mother describing the trip. The original manuscript was printed by jobbers Horton & Leonard for private distribution and apologized to the author for publishing the letter without her knowledge or permission.  Very few copies of the original pamphlet survived.
